NZQA have been running Consistency Reviews since 2015 after introducing them in 2014 as part of the Targeted Review of Qualifications, (TRoQ), for all new New Zealand qualifications (not National Qualifications).  

QED Directors have studied NZQA's material and attended the NZQA workshop to best understand their actual requirements and the lived experience for providers. We have also sought and reflected on feedback from PTEs that have been through the Consistency Review process and have also analysed the NZQA reports.  So QED has developed this Consistency of Graduate Outcomes workshop in response to PTE concern that NZQA isn't running enough of their introduction to their Assuring Consistency workshops to meet demand.

The intended outcomes are that participants can:
1. List NZQA’s main requirements for Consistency Review
2. Explain to colleagues how Consistency Review fits into your quality assurance
3. Identify sufficient evidence for a confident Consistency Review
4. Prepare analysis of your evidence for your Consistency Reviewer
5. Participate successfully in the Consistency Review forum.

The day starts with context about NZQA and their requirements and how consistency fits into an effective overall Quality Assurance system. In the afternoon we focus on gathering and analysing sufficient evidence for a specific qualification - hopefully you can bring yours along. This section also includes lessons from current consistency reports to help plan your consistency success.

Location:
The usual venue for the QED Consistency for Graduate Outcomes workshop is the wonderful Lake House Arts Centre, 37 Fred Thomas Drive, just 5 minutes from the Harbour Bridge and with lots of free parking.

Workshop fees:
One participant is $475 + GST earlybird paid in advance (or $525 afterwards).
Two or more from the same organisation is $400 each + GST earlybird and paid in advance (or $440 afterwards). 

QED Quality Management workshop cancellation policy: withdrawal and refund ok up to 48 hours before the course start, no refund after that.
QED reserve the right to reschedule or cancel for any reason but endeavour to advise registered participants with adequate notice.
